Krystina Stimakovits & Susan Wolff, 2014
Propelled by the power of a long poem, the photographer, decades later, retraces the experiential journey of the researcher and poet through contested lands. The photographs and excerpts from the poem cast an oblique and meditative light on some rarely explored facets of the Israel-Palestine conflict.
Photos were taken in Jerusalem, Beit Sahour, Har Homa settlement, Bethlehem, Kidron Valley in the Judean desert, Nablus, Aida and Balata refugee camps and along route 60.
